Energy drink that works???

Sup everyone!

Just wondering if there are any energy drinks out there that work? Of course decent flavor would be cool (I love Red Bull), it's not a must.

Sometimes I find myself lacking in the energy department as I don't get nearly enough sleep and I work out often. I could use a little "boost" every once in a while.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Mike

I don't know if you get this in the States, but Lucozade works quite well, it's full of glucose and other sugary substances though, so i'd advise working out a lot if you plan to drink it in bulk.

well most of the energy drink work just for an hour or less! and after two weeks they dont work anymore (because you're body's working against that)
coffee is very good, just change every two weeks to a different one, and it will always work. BTW after two or three months the "old" coffees should work again!

but as i see you're searching energy drink

I just drink a sugar free Red Bull and a Gatorade after I get out of the gym in the morning. Works for me still.

I will be keeping an eye on this thread for suggestions.

Jer

EDIT: I try to stay away from lots of sugar, so I drink sugar free Red Bull

...I don't get nearly enough sleep...
I can't think of anything that will better serve your body and mind than getting your body's needs for sleep.

If you feel lethargic despite a healthy athletic regimen and good nutrition PLUS some fake energy [caffeine], and you have ruled out any other possible medical problem, makes me think you just need to get more sleep, Mike.

Are you grazing throughout the day, i.e., eating small amounts to keep your blood sugar up? Are you getting proper nutrition for your workout regimen?

I'm a coffee freak myself, but I eat all day long and I get enough sleep most nights to where while I get tired I'm not beat up too bad by the end of the day

Now, tuck yourself in and get thee a nap, k?

Bawls tastes AWESOME. I love that stuff. Never have been able to find it in stores, although I know it exists there.

It has 80mg of caffiene (Mnt Dew has 55)

I had a couple before I went to work @ 5pm a few years ago...didn't really feel any different....when I got home around 11pm, I had another...tried to go to bed a few hours later, absolutely could not even sleep. I was up the entire night . By the time I next went to sleep, I had been up for 36h
