Star Wars Trilogy DVD...on Ebay only!

Ok, I've looked around, and nowhere else is the Star Wars Trilogy available on DVD. Not that it surprises me Ebay would let a piracy go so long as it was lucrative (and stop a guy from putting up Linux copies!)...but how are they getting away with it? I mean, I can't imagine Lucas Arts letting something like this go so rampant. Looking into the Ebay forums, seems many folks have reported these violations for some time now, to only be told something along the lines of "We are unable to judge the legitamacy of these videos", and therefore leave them go.

Ebay, YOU SUCK

Search Froogle and you'll find these "auctions" all over the place.

Oh, and you'll also notice they're region free. Definitely some Chinese connection somewhere.

Most of the ones I looked at on Ebay said region one...but that's nothing that can't be changed with good authoring software or a PC region crack.

I think they actually did release Star Wars 4-6 on DVD a long time ago. If it's all region, it's probably a fake. But if it's just Region 1, it's probably the real thing.

eBay will keep fake, pirated copies of the Star Wars Trilogy online but when my wife put up copies of a home-made compilation video of New Kids on the Block footage (from TV interviews, etc...) on eBay they cancelled her account without any warning!! It's still cancelled to this day. Then they cancelled mine because we're at the same address.

eBay can do certain things to themselves that I will not voice here.

I'd love to see someone take them down...legally, or otherwise...
