I haven't seen it yet. We was wondering that the other night. We really don't like those types of movies; however we had seen them in the old days so it might be intersting to see how those two go at with each other.

One Toronto newspaper's movie critic rates movies with stars, from 1-5.

She gave this one a zero.

Just curious, does the movie go on somewhat the same plot lines as Freddies movies and Jason's movies? Or is it a completely different senerio?

If Freddy wanted to take down Jason, Jason would have be asleep.

Neo- it's basically like this. Freddy can't scare the Elm Street kids any more...he brings Jason to Elm Street to do his dirty work...Jason doesn't stop when Freddy thinks he should...Freddy gets upset, Jason doesn't care...they go at it!

I'm going to see it tomorrow and I can't wait!!!

I've been a HUGE horror movie fan since Friday the 13th, part 1! The critics slammed the movie of course...what do you expect them to say? Blood, guts, and breasts all over the screen...that pretty much sums it up from what I understand. But the user reviews are a bit different:

The Critics:
C
11 reviews

Yahoo! Users:
A-
4878 ratings

So if you are a horror movie fan, it's a must see! The two Kings of horror go at it, who could ask for more? I bet the theaters were filled with "freaks"...when I went to see Jason X there were TONS of, how shall I say, extreme gore lovers there dressed for the part.

FUN FUN FUN!

Mike

Not necessarily In the dream world Jason has NO chance at all..(And Jason DOES have a little trip into the dream world) In the real world, it is quite even

Nah...in the real world, Jason has the advantage. Ronny Yu (director) even mentions that in one of his interviews. From what I understand Jason spends a bit of time in Freddy's world, then Freddy takes a trip to Jason's neck of the woods. I'll find out soon enough...11 hours to be exact!

Ever since i was a kid I wanted this to happen ( like most other people that are fans of these two) and finally it is here. Now that I am older and movies don't "scare" me anymore, I still , will go see this for nostalgia sake.

It is supposed to rain later, perhaps I will go see it today.

Sequel: Freddy VS Jason Vs Michael Vs Chucky Vs The Leprechaun in a steel cage, single elimination, no holds barred, sudden death, winner takes all, version you have never seen before, imax compatible, no joke, kill or be killed match.
