does anyone think that a major beer company would sponsor me to compete in 100m competitions if i took a (tax deductable) pint of beer before running. G reckons Carlsberg would. I was quite a 100m/200m runner before laziness set in so perhaps I can work off my belly and try to get into an athletics club at uni...

AWww come on, you'd LOVE to see a sprinter sponsored by bud or carlsberg on TV. All these guys doing the nike thing, or adidas (or steroids...?). It HAS to be done!
