The universal rule something that is always right.
The last place you look is always where the thing is that you are seeking.
I have torn my computer lab and storage room looking for a cable I have not used in 2 years.
I noticed something of a pattern forming here. When ever I search for something no matter how long and how hard I look the item is always in the last place I look. Why is this?
A pattern for me is to look for a very long time, give up, and yell for my wife, who usually finds what I've been looking for in under 10 seconds. Or I just ask her to begin with. The more obscure the object I'm looking for and the better it's hidden the more likely she is to know where it is. Like knowing that my tie clip is in the medicine cabinet in the downstairs bathroom on the third shelf behind the expired bottle of kaopectate. Now, HTH does she know that?

it's because she's hiding them! Think about it, you search for something for ages and ages and you get in a fight and say "OKAY YOU FIND IT THEN!" and she promptly finds it and says she found it in the place you first looked.
