Would someone please explain "Deleted User" to me?

I have seen a certain user who I was about to PM concerning an MS-DOS operating system he was selling, but, today, I notice that his status is "Deleted User".

Would somebody please explain to me what constitutes a deleted user and what sorts of offenses one has to do/has done to become a deleted user?

I'm really confused about this, so I'd just like to know. Thank you

We had a database crash. A few user accounts were deleted with the crash. Most have been restored I think, but a few (mine included) disappeared completely and had to be remade.

Try PMing a moderator about the deleted user. They should be able to help you out.
