Nices specs. If anything it sounds a little overpowered for a newbie!

Does Dell sell Athlons?

Does it come with a big red bow like in the picture?

Very nice for a newbie, Sweeper. I think she will love it.

Heck, I'm an oldie, and I'd love it! lol

She won't like it so you had better send it to me and I will send you my slightly damaged 900@1050 TBird system.

I don't think Dell uses AMD processors. All Intel.
Socal It didn't come with a big red bow . Darn it I knew something was missing..
She wasn't to happy sitting next to my home built system (which sounded like a plane):

1.3 Tbird 'AXIA' 'Y'
MSI K7T Pro 2a
Vantec 7000 rpm fan
128 pc133 SDRAM (swapped from the Dell)
64MB Nvidia GeForce2 MX/400 with TV-Out (swapped from the Dell)
WD 20 gig ATA 100 (7200 RPM)
Sound Blaster Live (VALUE)
10/100 NIC
48x Creative CD-ROM
8x4x32x Sony CD-RW
3 80mm case fans

Above system soon to be sold or parted out....
Keep an eye on the Buy Sell forum...
Don't want to say goodbye to it just yet, but I will soon have too!

The Dell is a Pentium 4 @ 1.4 GHz

She's gonna learn. HEHEHE...
Has everything she needs. Plus it's going to be our only PC. She didn't like mine because of the Noise and I was always messing with it. She'd always ask, "what are you doing to it now" or "what did you buy for it this time".... ? ? ?
Oh well. The Dell is nice. Strange though...it's so quiet now.......
