While I was cleaning/rearranging my room, I found some very peculiar stuff. I took some pictures of the stuff I found interesting and decided to share some of it with you. You may think it's pointless, but some of you may find it worth looking at, especially those of you who have nothing better to do.

Here we go....

Anyone remember this game? Oh, it was SO fun, and the graphics were killer! It all fits on one disk too! To bad this is only the demo.

If you have no clue what that game was, maybe you can identify with this one! This was one of the first games that I played. The guy gave it to me for free when he built my 586 133mhz!! 5 diskS!!

Nowadays magizines give you demo cd's that have tons of games on them. The magaxine is usually colored too. Well back in the old games, we had floppies. I remember subcribing to this "shareware" company. This one is in 256 color too!

Can you guess what this is??

Well if you guess that it was the blow up doll I keep under my bed, you were wrong. It's actually a Nintendo game pad! The huge one!

Found this, and I laughed. *BEEM, ZAP, DIE!* Those were the days.

I don't know what this is, but it looks like it could be worth some money.

Continued...

This is what the inside looks like: tons of cards. Copyright 1991

Don't know what this is either...some book.

HAHAAHA it was published in 1940! It has "technological marvels" in it that are WAY passed due. Very funny to read.

"Crime lab Technology"

"Iron Lung Machine"

"Small glasses that fit in the palm of your hand?????"

I just found this one funny. Can you see why? It's in a corner.

OH the memories!!! All these games were fun while they lasted. To bad all the games were STOLEN!!!

Hehe, anyone recognize this? Yep, it's an oldie-but-goody. I plugged it in and it still works. Look GREAT too. How did Sega come out with something this good way back when? Look way better than gameboy, color even. Looks as good as GameBoy Advanced to me, AND it's back-lit. This really was a marvel in tehcnology. Found a box of more games later.

I hope at least some of you found the pictures worth the time.

Signing off,
Brandon

Weee..5 discs. The last game I had that used floppies was...ohh, Commander Keen 5 I think.

I still play Descewnt, but with OpenGL mods of course.

That cool.

But you probably should've warned the dial-up users in your title about all the large pics.

My only question is which one of those disks had 1000 free minutes of AOL on it!

Great collection! The only thing under my bed is dust and dirty socks!

Great stuff, keep digging! I want to see more!

Anyone know what the Tom Petty thing is? Should I throw it away?

I have no idea what it is. But I do at least know it's Richard Petty, not Tom Petty.

Definatly don't throw it away.
If you don't want it, send it to me
It's a NASCAR collectable of the Petty family.
Richard "the King" Petty is the winningest driver in NASCAR history, and his dad was one of the original stock car heroes.
His son, Kyle, is a popular racer today, his grandson was killed in a racecar a couple of years ago.
That's a very cool set of cards. May be worth some $$ in years to come.

woohoo! Descent was awesome

Played it YEARS after it came out, in '98-'00 on our HS's LAN before and after school...and during school when we could get away with it. We had clan matchs, everything...was great.

I remember the GameGear...retailed for at least $100...was the uber handheld system (I only had a gameboy ).
