Why don't girls like computers?

Why don't girls like computers? Even the ugly and fugly ones don't seem to keen on computers. Whats the deal here? There's even fewer girls who play games online. I've only HEARD of maybe 20 or so women who play online games (confirmed by pictures) but that's all. Anandtech seems to have a few women but that site is essentialy 1 bit chat room (have you seen the off topic area?). This site has thousands and thousands of registered members but I bet less than 100 of those are actually women or even claim to be.

Anybody know here?

Actually there's a huge bunch of girls into computers
When I was in junior high school and used ircnet, there were something like <10% of users girls.

Now, when I observe ircnet today, there are like >110% girls.

Why aren't they here? Perhaps they don't know how to answer technical questions and only seek entertainment from the computers. How would I know.

Good call, muno. My 15yo dau chat's all the time, mainly with a bunch of girls. And apparently this is very common.

She won't come to TIMO though. I won't let her due to all the young guys here!!!

OK well where are these user group things? I really need more communication with girls because quite frankly I can't communicate with them for the life of me. When they start going on about how mall A is better than mall B is start thinking how nice being dead would be

I really don't know of anyone into computers other than the people here.I know some people that have one,but that doesn't qualify you as being into them IMO
Knowing how to get one to work,and being a user is two different things in my book
