IM WRITING IN CAPSLOCK BECAUSE IM SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THE CRAP THAT YOU NEED TO DEAL WITH IN A "TECHIE LIFE STYLE". I RECENTLY STARTED THOUGH TO BECOME A WHATS CALLED A TECHIE AND I AM ENJOYING IT THOUGH IT HAS ITS NEGATIVE STUFF AND THIS IS WHAT I AM GOING TO TALK ABOUT. THINK ABOUT TODAY, YOU NEED TO BUY A BRAND NEW COMPUTER. YOU PAY A LOT OF BUCKS AND YOU THINK IT IS OVER WHEN IT ACTUALLY JUST STARTED...IF YOU USE INTERNET, THAT MOST PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO NOWADAYS YOU WILL NEED A FIREWALL FOR HACKERS. HACKERS? ISNT THAT STUPID THAT THEY ARE PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD THAT LIKES TO "ENTER" YOUR COMPUTER AND START MAKING CRAP SUCH AS SENDING TROJANS OR DELETING IMPORTANT FILES! WTH IS THIS WORLD! WHY DO THESE PEOPLE EXIST, WHATS THE POINT OF BEING A HACKER? FOR FUN! MAN SOMETIMES YOU JUST IGNORE IT BUT I REALLY THINK THIS IS A SOCIAL, COMMUNITY PROBLEM/ISSUE. VIRUSES... FIRST TIME I HEARD THE WORD IN THE COMPUTER WORLD I THOUGHT, WHAT DOES COMPUTERS GET SICK? WHY DID I THINK SO? BECAUSE I DIDNT BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE IGNORANTS IN THIS WORLD THAT DONT HAVE NOTHING TO DO SO THEY INVENT SOME STUPID THINGS TO MAKE OTHERS LIFE A LIVING HELL. WHO INVENTED THE COMPUTERS VIRUSES,TROJANS,WORMS? DONT YOU THINK ITS STUPID, INSANE THAT EVERY DAY PEOPL MAKE DIFFERENT KINDS OF VIRUSES?! ITS A DISEASE, MENTAL ONE IMO...I REMEMBER THE OLD DAYS WHEN ALL THIS CRAP DIDNT EXIST (WELL, MOST OF THEM SINCE SOME HAVE ALWAYS EXISTED IN THE COMPUTER WORLD). BEFORE I BECAME A TECHIE OR A PERSON THAT JOINS FORUMS AND ENJOY DISCUSSING COMPUTERS I DIDNT HAVE A FIREWALL OR ANTI-VIRUSES. I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THIS STUFF. PROBABLY THAT COMPUTER THAT I USED IN THOSE TIMES WERE FULL OF VIRUSES AND HACKERS COMMING IN...OH AND I FORGOT, THE MOST *deleted* CRAP THAT EXIST...SPYWARE! IDOUBT THAT ANYONE HAVE A SPYWARE FREE COMPUTER. NOWADAYS LUCKILY THERE EXIST SOME ANTI SPYWARE REMOVERS SUCH AS AD AWARE AND SPYBOT BUT THE UNKNOWN SPYWARE ISNT CAUGHT TODAY..UNFORTUNATELY. WHO INVENTED THIS CRAP? I MEAN COME ON! ALL THESE PROBLEMS, AND THREADS, DUDE! THIS IS INSANE! TRY TO JUST DOWNLOAD A EVEN MICROSOFT FILE, IT WILL COME WITH SPYWARE BELIEVE ME...LIGHT SPYWARE SUCH AS TRACKING COOKIES ETC. IM JUST SICK AND TIRED OF THIS AND I WHANT EVERYBODY TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS ISNT RIGHT, WHAT KIND OF WORLD AND PEOPLE IS THIS? IM JUST SICK AND TIRED!!!!

HACKERS ARENT BAD?? WTH ARE YOU ATLIKNG ABOUT. A HACKER IS A PERSON THAT KNOWS HOW TO ENTER YOU COMPUTER AND DO WHATEVER HE WANTS TO DO. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE HACKERS THAT DO THIS TO HELP PEOPLE BUT THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE THAT SHOULDNT EXIST. VIRUSES ARE TO HELP/BENEFIT (MOST) NO WAY! Good user habits (like not using all caps) will fix 90% of the things you are complaining about. Don't give your e-mail to every form asking for it, just be smart. I never have problems with viruses and trojans, and I consider myself sloppy.

Not all hackers are bad Durante. Alot of hackers are the ones who find the holes in operating systems and report there finding so they will be fixed.

This is pretty much all true.

-You don't need to worry about hackers if you have a router; my buddy is a script kiddy and he wanted to test a script which would shut off my computer. I gave him my IP and he messaged me back saying "WTF? does your computer have a firewall?" .

-The point of being a hacker is mostly to be able to say you can do it. Hackers are mostly just people in search of knowledge, that Kevin Mitnik guy used to read manuals thrown in AT&T's dumpsters and he became one of the world's greatest hackers.

-Hackers are the guys who break into big networks like the FBI, Microsoft, the military either to steal information or to just see if they can do it. It's rare that a hacker actualy does damage. The only hackers that do damage are the ones you know about, the ones who just copy files are the ones you don't hear about..... because they are usualy not detected.

-The guys who make viruses and trojans are just a**holes usualy trying to demonstrate that MS makes a vulnerable OS.
