Hey, what code can I use when submitting a reveiw (html/ubbs/?)

I'm about to submit a review of a motherboard but I don't want to hit submit if I'm using the incorrect code (for links and such).

Anyone know?

i dont think you can use code, i think its like the gallery.. but im not sure

Oh. Well ok...that makes it easy. I guess people around here are smart enough to find their own links anyways, so no biggie.

Here's what I do.

Go to the Forums and make like you are posting to a forum. You then have all the tools available including the familiar automatic codes. When you go to Preview Post be CAREFUL and put in X or something for the subject and make sure you PREVIEW and don't accidentally post it.

When all looks good, select it all and copy it to the clipboard and then paste it into the review. Make sure to get out of the forum so you abandon the fake post!

Works for me anyway.

but are the same codes accepted in a review as in the forums?

If I enter [url]linktosomewhere.com[/url]

will it end up looking like:

1.) linktosomewhere.com (which would be correct)

or will look like this because vB code is not allowed?

2.) [url]linktosomewhere.com[/url]

or will it get totally screwed up and end up like this?

3.) <a href="http://linktosomewhere.com" target="_blank">linktosomewhere.com</a>
