Need a fantasy footbal league (for free!)
Hey all, I've done sandbox for the last two years, finished first in my league last year. wOOt!
Well, sandbox sees the need to charge a fee this year and I don't wanna pay it, being the cheapdkate I am.
Sooo...
Anyone know of any good free leagues, or need an extra slouch?
I could pay a nominal fee, but not a stinkin' monthly fee!

yahoo & nfl.com both went to pay for play. I've been doing it for years now & guess I'm going to have to plunk down some cash. It's an addiction I tell ya

man, I was reading this thread and for some reason mikehof's avatar looked like creatures avatar glancing out of the corner of my eye. just didn't seem like creatures would be too into american football for many reasons.
Yep, yahoo, nfl I think espn, it seems like everyone has a free league operating.
I just drafted my players for a league with some friends, anxious to see how I'll do this year. I've done really well in the past.

Let's create our own.
Only, let's do something other than Football, huh? Everybody does that. Let's have a... Fantasy RailRoad League!
We'll post train arrival/departure schedules, maybe have MVP Conductors, a hall of fame list of passengers...
It'll be GREAT!
I dibs blowing the (imaginary) whistle! |

Hey, sounds good to me!
I'll tell you from experience, that arrival and departure schedules are very unreliable!
I work for RailAmerica, a division called Kyle Railroad here in KS/CO.
WooHoo! I might actually have a leg up on the competition!

Yahoo STILL does have a Free Fantasy Football League. You just have to look for it.
When you go to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/, look in the bottom right part of the screen. You'll see a link entitled "Go to FREE Fantasy Football". The link is http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1
I've been using this for the past 3 years, and I've loved it every year.
