Gaming Official TechIMO Statement!
Scott has been notified regarding the forum errors. He believes the problem has been isolated, and he is currently working to resolve these issues.

Most deleted accounts should be restored now. However, if anyone is experiencing a problem accessing an account, please notify Scott or myself at sdw@techimo.com or editor@techimo.com .

While we are still in preliminary recovery stages, Scott intends to try an automatic update of everyone's post count before attempting manual updates for hundreds of corrupted accounts.

that is great news RR. Must be a chore to handle.

On another note, not sure if others noticed this, but links from private messages don't work correctly either. I Just got a pm to a thread in timo and i clicked on it and it went straight to the timo homepage. So i tried copy and pasting the link in the address bar and it did the same thing. went straight to the timo homepage rather than the thread.

Week long project? Um if scott ends up having to do manual updates. Im afraid that is gonna take far longer than one week.

Keep up the good work scott, this can't be easy!

The biggest problem I see is many people had inflated post counts [including me] due to coming over from "the other place".
Scott originally manually changed the post counts I believe, so I cant see them getting fixed easily unless the database has a restore point

Not that I'm worried about it though- have my T-shirts so I'm happy
