if you google for it, it apparently is a sweedish band. and you can see it used in other sentences there.

i honestly believed someone spelt it wrong lol, its not in the english dictionary so maybe just an error?

i believe it to be pronounced "nee mick"

i dont think it is misspelled, but perhaps does not exist in the english languange, the book that i am reading is translated from german....Creatures, YGPM

Don't know what you're trying to find, but "mnemonic" and "anemic" are both real words. Johnny Mnemonic is a good short story by William Gibson (and a bad movie starring Keanu Reaves).
