If I were anymore bored I'd be dead!

Haven't worked since December 20th. I know the schedule of HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax better than they do. It's so bad that I watched an info-mercial last night for a crappy laptop.

I always thought doing nothing and being rich would be the best of everything. Gotta have a purpose in life though.

Even saying "Would you like fries with that?" 2,000 times a day would be better than this. ( Well maybe not now that I think about it. )

Sorry, had to rant.

Wonder what's on FoodTV?

Then again, I could watch "Doc Hollywood" in Spanish.

I could read the want ads. Oh Rats!! "Must have 17 years experience picking up "doggie" doo" in the rain and be proficient in Latin, Afghani, and Romulan.

I only have 16 years with the "doggie" doo and it wasn't in the rain.

Where's the remote? I think Emiril's on.

Bill

I've been low on the employment list lately as well. I'm working for myself right now, but it's so slow, I've gone to the local Operators Engineer union hall to see about getting on there.

I mean, we the family can survive on just two days of work per week. But if that's all the work I'm going to get, I might as well change that to an evening/weekend job and get a full time day job to bring in some real dough.

So how'd you get rich? Lottery?

1. Try your hand at writing. Start out by writing chapters of your own life and then embellish. Keep adding fictional story lines and then try fleshing out characters and dialog (the tough part).

2. Take up fishing.

3. Volunteer somewhere. Try to find a decent candidate for governor out there. That'll be a full time job.

I spend many a hours trying to help with technical issues in forums, like this one! Or reading up on new technologies, playing around learning new software...the tech industry has given me a brick wall, as I've tried to get on with nearly every company that has an IT dept in the St. Louis area. Been over a year of sending resumes. I only have an A+, Vocational Deploma, and "no experience" as I have not worked for anyone other than myself, and that doesn't count in the corporate world.

So back to the union I go! I'll keep the computer thing a hobby & side job until I figure out a way to make myself a millionaire out of it : lol :
