WMDs?
Even the search for weapons programs isn't going so well... Quote:
Despite vigorous efforts, the U.S. government has been unsuccessful so far in finding key senior Iraqi scientists to support its prewar claims that former president Saddam Hussein was pursuing an aggressive program to develop nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, according to senior administration officials and members of Congress who have been briefed recently on the subject.
The sources said four senior scientists and more than a dozen at lower levels who worked for the Iraqi government have been interviewed by U.S. officials under the direction of the CIA. Some scientists have been arrested and held for months, others have made deals in return for information and at least one has agreed to be interviewed outside Iraq.
No matter the circumstances, all of the scientists interviewed have denied that Hussein had reconstituted his nuclear weapons program or developed and hidden chemical or biological weapons since United Nations inspectors left in 1998. Several key Iraqi officials questioned the significance of evidence cited by the Bush administration to suggest that Hussein was stepping up efforts to develop new weapons of mass destruction programs. ...

Can't be. Bush said, "found the weapons of mass destruction" when he was in Poland. We know Bush doesn't lie so you story must be wrong Theo. http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp...nguage=printer

Oh, yeah, sure -- and we should unkill a bunch of people, too.
No, you can't unmake an omelet; but you can admit the eggs were rotten to begin with.

J-Excel, I think that's the point. Bush knew that it didn't matter what excuse he gave as long as the invasion occured - for whatever the real reason was. Once the invasion/occupation happened, it didn't matter any more.
However, we can feel used as a people and demand accountability from leaders.

The eggs were rotten, but laid by chickens on 9/11 in a nest that scrambled thousands of innocent beings. Countries that grow, roost, and service the chickens are farming turmoil and the mission is to raze the coops. Saddam and the like are on the radar screen.

So Max,
You seriously think that Iraq had something to do with 9/11? That spin has been totally discredited. Oh, by the way, when are we invading Saudi Arabia?

Is saudi arabia torturing people?
Do we have saudi arabia shooting at our planes?
Do we have a history with Saudi Arabia of conflict.
Has Saudi Arabia tried to kill our president?
Has Saudi Arabia used Chemical weapons on their people?
BTW all the above are real questions. I have heard bad things about the Saudis but never gotten real clear on what evil they do.
I often hear about the Saudi Arabia royal family being implicated in terrorism, however, is that members of the governing family or just one of the 30,000 members of the royal family. 30,000 people is a lot of people, I bet you could find many differing oppinions among any group of 30,000 people.
