auto trans filter change a success
in reference to this thread,and thanks to red furys suggestion,i have successfully changed the filter(and,consequently,6 qts of fluid) in our park avenue. had a bit of confusion about the rubber/metal sleeve that must be installed beforehand,but after a quick call to my auto trans info connection i learned that the sleeve goes into the trans first,not on the filter first.

Heh. Well, glad to see it went well. The Transmission is one of the most overlooked components in your car...right next to brake fluid and power steering fluid ( both which should be flushed and refilled on occasion ( which never happens, right along with our poor trannies )

Glad to hear all went well. I have to agree that a transmission is overlooked untl there is a problem, but for me thats good. Thats where I make my money. mwahahahahahahaha
