I hate bees!

today i was driving down the road and all of the sudden i felt this horrible burning pain on my shoulder. i was smoking a cigarette at the time and thought that somehow maybe the cherry had fallen off and landed on my shoulder and was burning me. i look at my cigarette and it is intact. the pain hits again in a different place, then again! i swerve off the road and come to a sliding stop and jump out of the truck just cussing up a storm. what had happened was a yellow jacket had flown in my window as i was driving and stung me 3 times on the shoulder! i was so pissed off. this is the first time i had been bee stung in like 10 years and i dont remember them hurting that bad but this felt exactly like someone was putting out a cigarette on my shoulder in 3 different places. i was rubbing my shoulder and when i pulled my hand back the stinger was on my hand. the bee fell on the ground and i mashed him onto an unrecognizable mush. i was under the impression that although honey bees stingers come off when they sting, that yellow jackets and other hornet type bees could sting repeatedly without their stinger being detached. who knows. anyway, that was my misfortune of the day

I remember one day I got into my car and when I put my back against the seat I got stung. Apparently the bee wasn't too pleased with being in a hot car for an hour and the fact that I was squishing it didn't make it feel any better either.

They definetely don't feel very nice.

Ouch. I hate it when that happens. You are correct, they can nail you many times. You're lucky it only got you three times before you got him.
