ROFLMAO...
Man, that's just about what my cat does! I can sit anywhere else in the house & she ignores me. But here she's an attention freak. Always on my lap, in front of the keyboard, ON the keys, and just generally in the way! Not bad tonight, she staying on my lap so far...
And like your Simon, my Misty's an old veteran at the tricks & doesn't fall for 'em!
Ace, I think it's younger cats that go for that stuff. Misty did, a few times, but it wore her out too much. But she's almost 19...

Cats do seem to have this ability to sense what's got your attention (i.e. not THEM) and get inbetween you and it! Whatever it is... a book, the newspaper, computer

My cat used to do that to me. I solved it by moving my computer to another room and closing the door (the other room didn't have a door. It was a family room).

That wouldn't work for me Praetorian. This cat is too damn spoiled. I've actually cut cat-doors into practically every door in the house. Just cut a small opening near the bottom of the door and tacked a piece of cloth to hang down and cover the hole.
See:
And speaking of spoiled. Here's the brat after he came in from playing out in the rain eariler this evening. This camera is so bad and his fur is so thick I don't know if you can tell, be he is very wet here:
That's the second time today he has come in soaking wet. I think he only does it because he knows he'll get towel dried...and he loves that.
Like I said...spoiled brat cat. |
