Anyone buy clothes & shoes online?

Well, my friends started calling me an ultra geek when I told them I bought shoes and a dress shirt online.
The reason I bought shoes online was that I was in the market for new shoes and I found this 30% off online coupon, plus the online footlocker store had a much wider selection and cheaper prices than the B&M store. So in the end, I got these real HOT Jordan Profiler shoes for around ~$50 (they retailed for about $135 in store).
About the shirt, I was browsing through Amazon.com and found that they had some really nice dress shirts from Van Heusen for cheap ($17) with free shipping. So I decided to pick one up, it turned out to be a shirt with a pink shade to it, and I wasn't going to walk around wearing a pink shirt ... so I had to return it to them via USPS and they promptly sent me another one....
does anybody else over here buy clothes and shoes online?... or have I turned into the Ultra geek ?
IMO,its a great way to sell as you get a HUGE selection of stuff, the prices are usually much cheaper than your local clothes store, and you usually get a good idea of how the thing looks like because of the ultra close shots of the stuff on the website... on the downside you can't really try them on.
*Heading on over to Amazon to check out some more clothes*

My friend bought a lot of clothes and shoes from Ebay. Pretty nice stuff and cheap.

I buy almost all of my clothes online (mostly from Lands' End or L.L. Bean; occasionally from Peruvian Connection or J. Peterman). Never had any trouble with anything not fitting perfectly.

Shoes, though, you better know the maker pretty well, because the fit is crucial. Even though almost all of my shoes are Ecco, and they are consistent (I take a European 43/US 9), I buy them in stores where I can try them on. But my feet have serious problems...

I'm with Theo. If you know your size, there's no problem. I'm a big Land's End and LL Bean fan, so you can't walk into the local mall and buy that stuff anyway (can you?).

Not shoes, though, I'm a wide size and difficult to fit under the best of circumstances.

Not Lands' End; but there are L.L. Bean stores other than in Freeport, ME. (There's one in Tyson's Corner, VA.)

mAd, you should be laughing at them! Your probably saving a ton of money plus you have a wider selection then in the catalogs usually.

I get a lot of T-Shirts off line from filling out questionares and I just bought two really stylish t-shirts from this one really awesome tech site Normally I like to physicaly go into stores so I can try stuff on and see how it really looks on me before buying it.

I think that Land's End is part of Sears now, so the LE stuff is probably in the Sears store.

I've bought plenty of clothes, but I'd be wary of shoes. Trying on is too important.

Cabela's, LL Bean and Bass Pro are great for clothing but I'm hesitant to do shoes or boots. Shoe sizes aren't consistent any more - a 9 1/2 in one brand is a 10 1/2 in another.

I have made a few purchases here and there but I do most of my shopping in the stores. I don't care how much money I'm saving its near impossible for me to buy any clothes online. Especially shoes. I'm only about 5'5" and have a muscular build so its really hard to find things that fit right on me. And shoes forget it. I've got 6 pairs of shoes and 3 different sizes. Any type of boots epically hunting or hiking or dress shoes are extremely hard to buy online as fit and comfort are a little more important than with sneakers.
