Fun with old keyboards...

i was at my friends house earlier tonight and he was cleaning out all his old computer junk and giving it to whoever wanted it. he gave me about 5 old ibm connector keyboards and i didnt need them so we had fun with them. we tied two of them to my trailer hitch and went driving down curvy roads about 60mph and they came apart all over the place. it was awesome. we lost one so we stopped and took the other one and i had on steel toed boots so my friiend held it up on the ground like a football and i kicked the hell out of it. great fun

They do hurt if they hit though.

Agreed. Plus the fact that many old IBM click-style keyboards are awesome to use. As long as they're the type that have all the necessary keys. Heck they may have even been worth a few bucks to people that wanted them. They seem to be going for about 10 bucks on ebay. So there's $50 down the tubes.

keyboards are not biodegradable

you could kill a small animal if it decides to eat a key and choke on it. seriously, i know it was all in good fun, but clean up after you are done. you should adopt that stretch of road and clean it up.

those click-styles are by far the best keyboards IMO. i am typing on one now. sure i got my wireless one too, but nothing beats the feel and sound and just unecessary mass of the keyboard. gotta love them.

we already cleaned it up guys, calm down we cleaned it up as soon as we were done, well most of it anyway.

and chuckie LMAO, i live in the middle of nowhere and there werent even any houses etc. on that road. if some old lady is driving her wheelchair out there then something is definatly wrong
