There is no stopping some of the mor 'mentally challenged' individuals achiving high roles in life... but if you were protesting your innocence, and he put you down - would you now claim for an appeal?!

Well, good news, I guess, but I can't help but sympathize (just a bit) with Hizzoner...

If it were me presiding over the court, I know I'd be dropping a wisecrack here and there, just to lighten it up, ya know? (idea: Let's have a day where lawyers are forced to wear clown suits in court! )

And it would be a sure thing that sooner or later, I'd say something that would piss SOME (oversensitive, overserious) BODY off, you bet!

I mean, his remark to that woman was just plain stupid and unfunny, but to give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was just having a "funny judge moment'?
