I'd have to buy two pairs.
Unless I stand upright like inThe lives of The Monster Dogs of New York

The only time I would spend more than $60 on a pair of shoes is IF my current pair of Redwing boots bite the dust, and that wont happen for a long time.

Nice, but I wouldn't be seen dead in them. Too flashy and "making a statement" type. But then I also hate clothes with the brand name/logo visible.

I feel clothes/shoes/watches should be worn for utility and what you feel comfortable with. Not to "show".

And $165... thats way too much. IMO, $75 is the maximum one should pay for any one item to wear-shoes,shirt,trousers,coats, whatever.

I always buy my shoes in the sales, either in January or mid-summer. I always have at least one new pair standing by in a box, as I generally end up buying two pairs as I see two I like, can't decide between them so buy both!

Now socks... that's another topic. I am the Imelda Marcos of socks!
