Know anything about the law??? HELP!

Welp I've got this assignment where Im supposed to find the exact quote of the law/statute/etc that the situation we wrote down talks about. So the situation I wrote about was a few months ago a man was arrested after he re-entered his burning building to save his dogs. He saved the dog but was taken to jail afterwards. I dont remember what he was possibly going to be charged with but I would assume it has something to do with crossing a police line or something. Im not exactly sure hehe. But maybe someone is a lawyer or is studying to be one here!!!

So if anyone can help me out then that'd be great. Thanks!!!

Oh and if you know of where I might possibly find an online version of the law books or something (where all the laws/statutes are listed).

I think what he was charged with would be a key piece of info here.

your can try these two sites. www.leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html http://california.lp.findlaw.com/ or you can go to most law schools websites they should have all the reference material needed to do your homework

here;s another site as well http://www.nocall.org/

one note as gomer said without knowing exactly what he was charged with you might be looking for awhile. However I'd start by checking with something along the lines of impeding emergency service. It may ahve been crossing police lines but they would be more apt to charge you with some to do with keeping the firemen with doing their job.

Jarrod Martin is charged with recklessly endangering his life and the lives of firefighters working to put out a blaze at a west Nashville apartment complex.
If your supposed to quote the law that he broke it will be a violation of Tennesse's penal code that you need to search for. I thought this was a case from here in cali. You can find the same violations for the codes here but I'm not sure if thats what you need?

I'm also not sure if they are seperate codes, meaning he might be inviolation of the penal code for endagering his life {one code} and in violation of a different code for endagering the lives of the firemen{sepate code maybe}
