how am i supposed to mark posts as read? when i subscribe to a thread, and a new post is made, the link in the email goes to the last unread post. well posts are not just being marked as read with me reading them. this is really annoying when it is on a thread with more than 1 page. cuz i click on the link in the email, and it takes me to the already fully read first page. then i have to click on the next page. i have tried leaving the page up for a minute or two, clicking in each posts area. slowly scrolling down the thread. but still posts are marked as unread. HELP!
Hmm this never really been a problem for me as I no longer use the email notification anymore however what I do is if i remember its already onto the second page. I scroll fast till I see my avatar and that is usally my last post and then read on from there.
My theory is that it's because this forum is inside an html frame. This thread is http://www.techimo.com/forum/t72987.html and it really screws up the forum's features. You know those little dots you are supposed to see on threads you have posted in? I can't even see those.

we don't have any lil black dots maybe your seeing things the email notification seems to work ok but even after you've posted in a thread and try to click on go to first unmarked thread it drops you way back. The thing thats driving me crazy is I'm getting subscribed to random threads I post in. It doesn't happen to all of them just some and it gets annoying receiving all those emails maybe I should spam less
