Camping Pics!

Finally Comcast is letting me into my storage space. Argg. been trying to do this thread for 2 days now. Anyways onto the good stuff.

BUT FIRST:

First and formost I would like to extend my appeciation to OuTpaTienT for taking the time to use his exellent skills at my request to clean up these pictures. Thank you OuTpaTienT!!!!!! I owe you one!

I didn't get many opportunities to get pictures taken while we were camping last week, however the pictures I did take made it all the worthwhile for the ones I did get.

Now for a little background of the area and why we go to this place.

A family tradition started 34 years ago with 8 different families traveling to Prineville Resivoir every summer for our annual family camping trip. Over the course of the years the annual camping trip still takes place, unfortunatly it keeps shrinking and shrinking each year, but never fear the ones who still keep the tradition alive have a rocking time with skiing, wakeboarding, innertubbing and the other likes. Plus plenty of fishing time and just good ole fashioned boating time.

The area in particular we go to have always been known for deer to go through the private park when the sun sets, over the years the deer got braver and braver and would walk right smack through your campsite if it was empty. Each year the kids always try and see if they can get close enough to feed them. Thier wild ways never left and as soon as someone got close they would kick up and bellow out and take off running. However this year we got lucky. As you can see the following pictures of the kids actually managed to feed these deer and as well as pet them. It was quite a site.

Due to some peoples slower connection I have cropped them smaller for hopefully easier loading just after the picture you'll have a link to view the full size picture that is uncropped. Also these picture were taking blindly, meaning that when i was looking through the lcd of the digital camera i could not see anything but blackness and I just prayed they turned out and OuT helped with the rest.

Enjoy!

Petting zoo??? Did you even bother to read the story behind it or did you just skip that part and zoom to the pics? As for the senery, you can't see the senery very much at night in night pics. and the lake you definatly can't see at night.
