I haven't been to a concert in a looong time. I did go see the Blue Man Group a couple of years ago in Chicago.
The best rock concert I have been to? I went to a local concert in Worcester, Massachusetts. 20 bands for $20. (Really like 26 bands)

Godsmack was there and they were awesome! Then they became popular and their tickets tripled in price.

Never been to a REAL concert, but went to a Classical concert and heard some beethoven from the Philadelphia orchestra at band camp. Man, they rock.

Not really recent but some of the memorable concerts I have been to are: Hole and garbage at the Orpheum Theater, U2, J. Geils and Billy Joel ( I didnt think I would like it but it was a great live show), The firm (only time I saw Jimmy Page) and Garbage at Avalon

Recent? No way.

I saw Clutch at Northern Lights (It's a BAR! Megadeath played there, too)

Allman Brothers, Neil Young, Metallica at Woodstock (along with everyone else) rank as some of the best shows I've been to.

I'm seriously jealous of you, Vass.

Well, my concerts experience is quite limited : 2 times Bon Jovi, so my favorite concert was Bon Jovi. :P

In September I will finally see my favorite band live : Nightwish. I've been waiting for their coming to America for 3 years.

edit : oh yeah, I've seen Anthrax too, but that was just OK.

Recent:

Marilyn Manson: Great "show" He and the band were flawless.

Fleetwood Mac...Stevie/Lindsey duets were nice.

Pearl Jam...I love those guys

Enrique Iglesias: yup....that's right, not too long ago. My wife has loved his music way before the "Spanish pop invasion" . He made a comment on how the guys in the audience were wishing they were somewhere else and from then on , I thought....cool dude.

Not recently but certainly memorable:

Ozzy Osbourne: On his 40th B'Day. What can I say? Anthrax opened

Green Day: Very "Fun" and entertaining

Slayer/Megadeth/Anthrax/AIC : Need I say more?

Faith No More: Gample Pavillion @ Uconn: Thought I was going to die from exhaustion...All time top 3

Pantera@ tiny club (Vulgar tour) Mass chaos+ no breathing room= top 3
Pantera -far beyond tour
Pantera - Great Southern Trendkill tour...ahhhh the anger release !

Metallica: master of puppets..would have stole the show if they weren't opening for ozzy
Metallica: and justice for all .......crumbling statue and all!
