...I'm not sure they deserve to make music anymore...they're ruining it and everything it means to people.

Lets beat them with their own instruments.

they just need to disappear

Ohhhh they can use it as F,E but not as E,F

Interested to hear somebody opinions that are familiar with "Metallica's E,F" chords...

They should of taken it to the copyright office

SCO = old company not making enough money selling their product.
Metallica = old band not making enough money selling their records.

So......... let's go sue someone and get money that way!!!

there must be easily hundreds of bands, and THOUSANDS (if not 1 million +) guitarists that have written songs using that chord progression, or just played them before Metallica even existed

Lars Ulrich is an incredible musician but I really wish he would stop putting his band mates up to doing stuff like this.
Quote:
"People are going to get on our case again for this, but try to see it from our point of view just once," stated Metallica's Lars Ulrich. "We're not saying we own those two chords, individually - that would be ridiculous. We're just saying that in that specific order, people have grown to associate E, F with our music."

Maybe so, but he's also a dipsh** little wiener-boy. I hope Metallica is prepared to pay royalties to Black Sabbath and a 1,000 other bands that used the E, F combo before them.

It's hard to believe that a band that was one time one of favorites is now a group of pathetic jackasses that I don't have an ounce of respect for.
