They do an event here at the local college bicycle velodrome with electric 10th scale car (20 batts/cobalt motors etc)---Cliff's been a regular competitor for years topping 100mph now, when the cars get airborn they just plain turn into dust, hardly much to recover and pretty dramatic to view, I used to race 8th scale off-road against him a few years ago but it was a futile effort---he raced motorcycles and worked for Yamaha before Associated picked him up---his design elements made Associated what they are today---just dont attempt to race against him :-)
