Restoring Motorcycles

Hey everyone. I wondered if anyone here knows how to restore motorcycles. I have an old '76 Honda CB360T and would like to make it look nice.
My main focus is on the engine. It has a lot of dirt on it and it looks like it may be a little corroded. I used s strong cleaner on it but it just took off the dirt and stuff like that, and doesn't look very good. Another thing is how do I clean between the plate things on the engine. Anyone have any tips on how to do something like this, or know of any websites that could help??

Try the laundry product called "Spray n Wash" if you can find it, spray it on and brush it in with stiff brush and blast it off with a high pressure sprayer like at the DIY carwash... after dry (not too hot) you may want to spray on a little silicone from time to time to help keep the raw aluminum from corroding -that's how I used to clean them up.

I remember using aluminum wheel cleaner and a baby bottle brush (if you can still find one) to get between the fins. I bet that some of the concentrated cleaners like Simple Green or that orange stuff that they sell on TV would probably work too.
