When I started this I had no idea how close the Islam religion is to Christianity and the Jewish religions.
I took a definite LEFT in my research. I thought it was in the Quran, It isnt! It is a seperate book entirely. Called "Psalms of David"(Didnt guess that did you?? I didnt either).
I found out :
From:
1. Iman; Faith which consists of:
(a) the belief in one God, and in prophet Mohamed as his messenger,
(b) His Angels,
(c) His Prophets,
(d) His books (eg. Psalms of David, The Torah (book of Moses) the Bible and the Koran)
(e) and in the 'Day of Judgement.'
Also From here:
Scripture. There are four inspired books, the Torah of Moses, the Psalms (Zabin) of David, the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Injil) and the Qur'an.
THAT includes the phrase (Psalms 104) required by the ACLU to be removed from the Beautiful works
THE LORD has made.
I suggest that since the phrase is so generic(It belongs to 3 MAJOR DIFFERENT religions) that it falls into the same category as the term "GOD" and should be allowed to stand. By the way the same goes for the Ten Commandments!
