Did you like the movie Swordfish?

I thought this movie was fairly cool with the main plot being so different, Travolta's character being so cool and what not. I was lookin on the internet at some reviews of it and found out that aparently a lot of peole absolutely hate this movie.

What's so bad about it that everybody hates it?

i thought it was VERY predictable
i'd seen the trailers, and i figured after seeing the movie that i'd seen it all in the trailers... (apart from Halle Berry tho)
the movie was wellshot, had a sleek look, good starcast, and then there was an aussie in the movie , and then there was Vinnie Jones the madman

but yeah, overall the predictable nature of the movie turned me off, glad i waited for the DVD release before watching it

It is not the worst I have seen, but I would class it no higher than a film that leaves little with you once you've seen it, but passes a couple of hours.
Mind you.. Halle in some of those suits... mmm!

I didn't like it, it's been a while since I saw it so I don't remember what I didn't like about it exactly.

My best friend has taken university english so he knows that aparently all movies and books are based around something like 5 classic stories. First time I saw the movie was with him and he was predicting things at least 10 minutes in advance, quite amazing really. I can't do what he can though, fortunately.

The part that really sold me on the movie is that it has the best intro I have ever seen and the ending is pretty cool. Everything wins and nothing is left unresolved.

I thought it was pretty good. I, at least, didn't expect it to end the way it did, but I hadn't seen any trailers so I don't know if anything was given away in them.

I liked the movie quite a bit. Yeah, it was somewhat predictable, but so are a decent majority of movies.

The biggest complaint I have about ANY movie is when there is some sappy kissing scene at the end when there was no chance for these two strangers to have had a chance to get feelings for each other. I mean, a good strong hug after escaping death 3 times is fine, but they practically lay down right there and do the horizontal hucklebunk in some movies....just disgusting!

Only thing I disliked about it was the hacking scenes, I mean my god how freaking lame do you have to make it. Anyone with a 5 year olds mentality of using computers could tell that the GUI Interface on it was way to simple, he did no coding just put together a cube. Matrix 2 got the hacking scenes perfect.

What hacking scenes in the matrix? You mean like when that woman ate that piece of cake?
