One Ring to Rule Them All...
I'm surprised this topic hasn't come up yet!
With only a couple of days until the global release, are Techimoids going insane with anticipation, or blissfully unaware of the film event of the year?

Sheeesh!
I've been quivering with anticipation since they announced the release last year!
I read that they had to cut some parts of the book (Tom Bombadil, for instance) but the graphice I've seen are so staggering, I don't think I'll care (too much.)
For some examples, look HERE. |

Definitely a must-see. Did y'all know that they filmed all 3 "books" at once, and will release one each year?
I bought the Trilogy books with the cover movie theme, a large photo companion book (beautiful pics!) and thinking about getting all four Burger King glasses...
Thanks for the website link, Cadd Nice Flash site.

| never heard anything about this with regards to the film but all I have to say is don't knock it till you've tried it
Tried reading the books and could never get through the first one. Even though I used to be a BIG SF/Fantasy reader. Liked the hobbit though

Ha! I got you beat Dudster. I read the first ten pages! It just didn't interest me. Hopefully this film will turn out better than that other big novel, Dune. |
