Positive stories from Iraq.

I find it hard to believe that there are no positive stories coming out of Iraq. Please do not crap this thread by arguing. I would just like to see all the positive stories which you have come across.

ultimately from the CSmonitor.com (but based upon CBS Poll)

I am all for the UN calling on the world to assist in the Congo... here is their chance to prove they are not irrelevant.

but not under the rules of engagement that they impose. At best that renders the troops useless, at worst it is suicide for the good men and women who serve in the military.

As for your story.... I guess technically it is close to the spec's I layed out. Theo

While you payed lip-service to the UN, reeding between lines you trashed them and glorified the Marines.

I think I am going outside for a breath of air and to clench my fists---I am so mad at such statements made towards people who kill children and women.

I think I will not say anything more.

There is a good start

Once again you trashed the entire branch of the military service that you say is %99.999867 good people.

Yes I glorify the people who put their lives on the line for Even the ungrateful.

At least you are in a boat almost by yourself with 99.9999999999999867% of Americans who support our fighting men and women.

Please try to stay on topic though.

Epidemic, with all the supporters of the war we have here, you'd think someone would be able to come up with positive postwar stories. Despite your grudging acknowledgment, I seem to be the only one who's come up with anything at all. There are several possible reasons why they haven't:

(1) They're not interested enough to read and add to this thread;

(2) They've been too lazy or busy to search them out;

(3) There aren't any.

What are the results of your enquiries?
