The Da Vinci code by Dan Brown

I just finished this book and want to recomend it.
The story is enthralling, but the main thing for me is the idea that Jesus married Mary Magdelaine and had children.
I am not posting this to insult any Christians out there so don't get exited and all flamey, just go and borrow the book from the library,read it and let me know your feedback.

I haven't read it. It got great reviews.

But: on my vacation, I read his earlier book featuring the same character (Angels and Demons), and it was so dreadful I left it on the plane. And I don't ever throw away a book.

The plot was riddled with factual errors and gross oversimplifications; the characters were straight out of comic books (and I like comic books); and the dialogue was something that a college creative-writing instructor would give a failing mark.

Brown supposedly teaches literature at a top-rate prep school. I'd skip his class.

I havn't read Angels and Demons, now I will go and borrow it from the library just to see how bad it is ! (I only buy books I really like and will re-read)
