i see these links all the time where you can earn money reading email or taking a survey have any of you guys tried that? does it really work?

Haven't tried it; doesn't work. They're almost certainly typical home work scams; pyramid clubs in disguise.

Rule: If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

thats what i was afraid of..........anyone know of anything legit doing data entry at home and such as that?

they do work but its like 1/2-1penny an email and yes its a pyramid thing the more people you sign-up the more they read the more you make...as for surveys I've done alot of those and you can make a few extra dollars here and there but it takes more time than its really worth.
