Too much Matrix?

Read this. Some people just take things too far.

This was all over the news but I believe that the Matrix part is BS as I never heard/read anything about that in the news.
What I heard was that the main kid lost his Mother at a young age, his brother had some terminal sickness, he was constantly being picked on at school, was a straight A student as well... IOW, the typical stereotype you would associate with a person who would do this...
I'm not sympathizing with this dude or anything, but the people who picked on him have to share some responsibility. I find the levels to which highschool has gone to today absolutely disgusting....
*Sigh*

The 18 yr old's dad came on TV and said that their son never used a gun before or expressed a willingness to do so and wouldn't even know how to load a gun let alone shoot it...

He's a single full-time working parent... you can't really put all the blame on him... although, having all those guns in his house in a place that wasn't really secure was something stupid!

I don't blame the parents entirely... but they play a huge role.

yeah, the strait a student who gets pick on alot is the type to do this. not that i would, but i know the feeling.

parents dont know s*** about what we know how to do.

anyways, this has nothing to do with the matrix, imo.

I also know the feeling. Now it's not right for them to plan a "shooting rampage" but when kids realize that there is that one kid that won't stand up for himself, everyone will start picking on him.

Why am I doubtful that they wanted to shoot up half the town (like the press thinks). For some reason I don't think they would have been arrested without some sort of scuffle or fire fight.
