Kobe Bryant a Criminal?
I just don't see Kobe doing something like this. He's always been a good role model, good player, etc.
Hopefully (Sad that I am even hoping this) hopefully it's some lady in Vail that wants to try and get rich quick. LINKAGE |

I find it disturbing that all it takes in this world to destroy something you've built is an allegation, she said you did this, boom you're in jail, she's filing for some rediculous amount of $$.
Same with the other 2 cases at the bottom of the article.
1, attacked a female officer, can we define attacked? seems all it takes is for someone famous to say boo to someone and they can be charged (this one may have credibility tho)
2, Marajuana through a metal detector... hmm, anyone smoked any of that iron pot yet? I fail to see why the charges against someone famous are always on the front page esp. something as small as trying to get a joint to whereever you are going.
But as for the article, seems women have always found a way to get male athletes in trouble, not saying it isn't always a false claim, but some are quite obviously a flase/useless claim.

Well like I said.. I just hope that it's some B.S. and Kobe is going to be able to go about his business. Whether you like the Lakers or not, Bryant is an amazing basketball player.
Yes details are kind of sketchy Wizz. I figure if Darrell Armstrong wanted to assault a female officer, he would have slammed her head into the windshield a couple of times or something.
Who knows about Stoudamire though. He could have been taken aside due to something "suspicious" on him. I wonder if the government is still taking peoples toe nail clippers?

Not being a sports fan, I will say that athletes tend to find themsleves in these situations often. Seems to be a particular problem for NBA players. There have been several in recent memory. Alot is probably because the public eye on them.
I don't know if he did it or didnt, I honestly hope he didnt. But it wouldnt surprize me one bit if he did. Competitive people tend to have streaks like this in them.

Under Colorado law, sexual assault could range from fondling to rape.
| How can they put something as benign as a booty pat into the same category as rape? It makes rape look like a sexual act where it is an act of Terrible VIOLENCE against a woman.
I agree with you WOO.

Well it's really surprising the sports world because no one thoght that Kobe would do something like this.
We wouldn't be surprised if someone like A.I. or Lebron James (the so called 'superstar') doing this.

yeah I can't stand the lakers or kobe myself, but like Mike said I can't see it either.
I wouldn't be surprised if ai did it, but I thought lebron james was supposed to be a decent guy. Haven't heard much bad boy junk about him yet, but then again I probably haven't paid much attention either.

I'm really not a fan of Lebron James anyway. He's already lied about certain things. He was somewhat sure he was going to the NBA but he tried to tell everyone that his mother bought him that H2 with like 6 video screens or whatever it is. (It's highly modded)
Personally I want to see the kid fall flat on his face.
Sometimes he's ok with the media but other times I can't stand him. Went to Jay Z's night club opening (Think it was Jay Z) and bought everyone drinks telling everyone about how great he'd be. Just nonsense really.

Too bad for Kobe... media has no problems running people through the mud.
As for the metal detector/pot incident... Quote: |

| From what I hear, the idiot took his pot and rolling papers and put them in the tray in plain view. And they say weed doesn't affect the brain... HA!

He looks guilty to me---multimillion dollar pothead----you know its the evil weed that has made him overstep his wedding vows and have his way with an unsuspecting female---guy flys on private jets is a multi-millionaire and probably has numerous women coming on to him daily---makes sense he would sexually assult a woman who DOESNT want his attentions---
Dont it?
