Yep, I'm bad. I use Kazaa Lite all the time, and I've downloaded a HUGE amount of music, around 200 songs in the past few months. The worth of this music is in the hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars. I can't imagine buying all of this music, it would be WAY too much money, which is why I've gone to the dark side. Anyway, I think it's a great idea because if we didn't have stuff like this the music business would be making WAY too much money off of audiophiles. Most stuff I download is music, although I've gotten a few movies. I usually don't bother with movies because it takes forever, it's illegal, and the quality isn't good unless you get a DVD rip.

Sure, sometimes its just too much dough if you just want one single off a cd, also great for a preview before you buy. I just dl'ed about 5 songs but I balanced it back by buying a dvd audio disc off amazon so Im not that big of a leecher

Hmmm, I run an FTP and have people upload it to me, does that make me "yes" I don't download it, others upload it.
But I don't publically share my MP3's so I guess that makes it alright according to the latest RIAA complaint (people who distribute it will be charged etc.)

so when you're browsing a website you don't download the content from the server...the server just uploads it to you?
It's still a server, you are illegally sharing files...

It honestly makes me sick how you people try to justify doing this. I download music...I know it's wrong, I know it's illegal...but I do it...so do you...don't try to con people to believe the other way
