Help me with truck graphics---(Photoshop?)
Trying to decide how to add a spash of color to my truck---and thats the hardest part for me---deciding...
Im thinking of a simple band at window bottom height the length of the truck---or something?---
These guys are local to me and are going to do it in vinyl---if you saw the latest Monster Garage they did the graphics on the T3 inspired "Tundrinator"--- http://marsmurley.tripod.com/garagegraphics/index2.html have a look at the "Car graphics" section at #16, 22, 29...
Here is a shot of the truck if anyone wants to try and add something to it (or at least make a suggestion): |

Its actually the bigger brother of the Dakota called the Ram---ive looked at a bunch of sites for premade stuff, edecals.com and the others have zillions of designs but are usually shown on a Honda, Mazda, Mitsu, Toyota or some other small car---GarageGraphics will do anything custom for me but as I say my problem is deciding on what would look better...

tkop, I'd go look at what others have done for ideas. I'm a member at Ford Truck World, but they have a sister site, Dodge Truck World.
Look through the galleries & appearance forums. Fair warning, though. The site's horribly s-l-o-w compared to what we're used to here, and the owners are not very open to suggestions.
But the members - at least at Ford - are great, & I've gotten a lot of ideas for mine from there. Caution - truck modifications are addictive and may be hazardous to your wealth.

Hey, TKOP, you're a beach kind of guy, how about a pretty spray of transparent (well, light blue) water flying up from the front of the door, and making a graceful parabola towards the truck bed, and over the rear wheel?
Don't forget a subtle airbrushed gray dropshadow (yes, water will throw a slight shadow) to make the water effect "pop".
Wow, I see a white truck, ya know, it just looks like a ready canvas! You are correct, it needs a little something.
Nice truck, BTW! |

Well Knot---thats what im lookin for---suggestions---im wanting a new Lazyboy and I cant buy it because im inable to decide on a stupid fabric---leather---yes/no---velvateen yes/no, the NEW---SUPER leather substitute in nylon---yes/friggin no, ive been to the showroom ready to spend cash and left twice---im beginning to think im the king of indecisivness (is that a word?)
The place im using has a graphic designer in house---id like to go in with at least an idea so as not to overwhelm them with my stupidity (they have already assured me they can do ANYTHING I want)---
Ive got a BIG blank white canvas---id actually like to have fun with it---im good at having someone tell me what to do---I just need the correct person to guide me/advise it...
Im such a dork---dont worry---I know it...

Hmmmmm, well let's not get Cliche' and go with flames, ghost flames, or scallops...White is a great color to begin with, since EVERYTHING ( well almost ) is a possibility. I may play with it in Photoshop tonight and see if I can whip something up...might be fun!
Out should run his magic on it...I'd love to see what he comes up with.
