Home mold test kit

Has anyone used one of the home mold test kits? What were the results?

Here is the mold test kit that I used,Pro-Lab .

I place the dish on the counter in the bathroom for a sample location.

Here are the test results
Alternaria 1
Cladosporium 2
Fusaruim 1
Hyphae 1

The scale goes from 1 to 100 with 1 the least.

How accurate is something of this nature?

Go here:

http://www.iaq-testing.com/mold-test-kit.html

It says :

Average CFU readings:

Average Home: 25 to 35 CFU
Commercial Buildings: 39 to 57 CFU
Industrial Buildings: 51 to 70 CFU
Food Processing Sites: 57 to 95 CFU
Below 15 CFU: the place is as clean as a nuclear reactor.

Looks clean to me by your results, mad1!!

All of those fungi are pretty much innocous, and will be floating around in the air in any room in small numbers.

I would have placed it on the floor near the shower base, though. More likely to find more fungal spores floating around there.

Not particuarly sensitive at test, but should be a broad enough approach to show very high numbers of fungi.

err... slight exaggeration, but the point is made.
