Webcam washing machine??!???
I've noticed this ad on TechIMO for several days: A D S Pyro Webcam washing machine.. WTH is that?
Heh, thinking about it, it is a good way to get people to click on it...

I'd been wondering about that thing too, but resisted the urge to click on it until now.

OK, so it's a firewire webcam. Where "washing machine" comes into it, I've no clue. Creative advertisement, I guess.

P.S. The actual product in no way resembles that smoky orb pictured in the ad.

I actually didn't notice it until vass pointed it out to me. I tend to glaze over when it comes to ads.

Creative marketing? (oh, wait, it's not a Creative webcam, is it? )

Wonder if anyone will bother to fix it.

I doubt that, I think it was done on purpose. Notice the Webcam immersed in some sort of sphere with water inside...

I don't think it's fluid, either. The line you see is simply the seal between two pieces of plastic...
