Ok, by now most of you know that CE and I have a kitten by the name of sonny. Well, this morning, we heard our doorbell ring...
You got it, it was one of our neighbors with her kitten, who was in bad shape. From what we were told, her puppy had bitten the little 'girl', and her leg was bad off. When we got 'her' to the vet, we found out several things, the best of which is, 'she' is FL free! Second bit of news was, 'she' is a 'he'.
Now the part that hurts, he had fleas, and ear mites, and these nasty abscesses on his legs. Not to mention, he was also malnourished. I must admit, I wanted to wrap my hands around her neck, and squeeze, but I didn't, I was a good girl.
Tommorow I will get a picture, and I would like for you guys to come up with some ideas for names. At first we thought 'Mogwai', you know, after the critters from Gremlins (Wait till you see the pic! lol), then, when they brought him back to the exam room, he had these purple bandages around both back legs, right above his heels. He looked so much like a kangaroo, so we thought about naming him Roo.
Well, I will post the pic tommorow, but to give you an idea, he is sort of calico in color, with big blue eyes.
