Wal-Mart aims to delay unionization.

What a joke. Trying to delay the unionization of a store because a cameraman was filiming from the parking lot and had, supposedly influenced the results? Give me a break.

Suck it up Wal-Mart, your stores are gonna be unionized.

I walked into a unionized store here last week and had to wait 20 minutes in line to buy some aspirin because there were only three cashiers at the 20+ cash registers. I went into non-unionized Walmart the same day and was out in minutes because there were 20 cashiers. If the employees win and Walmart gets unionized, it's only going to hurt the employees and patrons because Walmart will try to get by with fewer employees. The employees won't get as many hours (or there will be fewer employees) and the patrons will have to wait in longer lines.

I agree with M_Six. Unions have a good idea in mind, but the reality of unions do much more harm than good with the dues, the corruption and the huge boost in wages (over what is reasonable) that do nothing but lower the work force and raise prices. What do you think will happen when Wal Mart is forced to pay its cashiers $14 to $15 per hour instead of $6?

I agree with M_Six.
Man, I have to get a screen shot of that real quick. Folks will never believe it a year from now.

You have to remember we are competing with Guatamalan peasants, Chinese sweat shops and prisons, imported immigrant labor, legal and illegal.

They don't have unions, so what make you think you should have one. Our competitors don't have health care, why should you!

This is the death spiral of competition! Wages need to go down, not up! Until you live in a mud hut like your competitors, they will continue undercut your price. Unless they raise to your standard of living, which ain't likely!

No. One was Snuck's and the other was Walmart. Snuck's is union, Walmart is not.
