Dual 4 ohm voice coil, aluminum cone and frame. 350w RMS rated (many, many, many people run at 600-700rms)
In the car audio world, this sub is always recommended for SQ.

This sucker POUNDS!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I listened to my friends dual 12" Alpine R series subs......it'll shake every bone inyour body but the accuracy SUCKS. Really boomy. Mine is VERY accurate. When I went into this project, the goal was to basically put my Klipsch home sub in my trunk. I have succeeded

Complete modern technology system. I bought the sub and amp from a well-respected (look at rating) seller; Ordered box components minus the wood from a retailer online; got MUCHO advice from a BMW forum (see *touched* thread) and a car audio forum; used several software port calculators; used Excel to input formulas to make the dimensions of the box so it would fit in trunk........
