Frozen Beer Mugs?

Hi,

This might not be the right place for this but here goes anyway.

Does anyone know where I can buy those Frozen Beer Mugs that were so popular a few years ago?

The kind I mean has an inner liner with some goo between the outer and inner bits, you pop them in the freezer till they are good and solid and your beer stays cooler for longer once it's poured.

My cousin has been looking around Ft Lauderdale for me and says lots of people know what he is talking about but no one can offer any suggestions as to where to get them.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Our local Wallmart has them. Cost $4.00(I think) each.

You can't find them? Walmart, local beer shops, and even the grocery store has them.

He's in England, don't know if WalMart has taken over that part of the world yet. I'm sure they are working on it!

Hi,

While Wal Mart do own ASDA they ain't quite the same store.

I will go and see if they have then in the next day or so but I won't hold my breath. The majority of beer served over here is at close to room temperature which is the best way to enjoy the flavour of the real ales that are pretty popular.

I wasn't planning on using them here anyway, I want a couple of dozen to take back to work with me so we can enjoy cold beers in a warm place.

On a side note however one benefit of being over here in the Winter is the fact that all drinks can be left in the garage and they are good and coooold when ya need a brewski.

Cheers

I have one. You can buy them at the Gift Shop at the 'Worl of Coke' in Atlanta. No exactly a 'beer' mug, but it works none-of-the-less. But since you live in England, and Atlanta is pretty far away, you might want to hit Ebay.

I'm using one now to further chill my cold beer purchased at my local beer store

Don't knock it till you tried it. If your beer doesn't taste good at just under room temperature, then it's not good beer.

It also explains why most American beers need to be REALLY cold to be enjoyed.
