Sounds reasonable enough to me. Until a couple of weeks ago, I was up 40-60 hours at a time, then slept 12-20 hours straight. Worked that way for about five years with no probs.

Errr, why, Lemon??

Just curious. Is it for a bet, or a personal endurance record, or what?

Can be done, it really depends on motivatiopn, IMO.

Oh, and avoid driving towards the end of it. They reckon sleeplessness-induced fatigue results in worse reaction time than being drunk. And knowing Lemon he'll probably combine the two!

Cheers
Mick

Its common for methamphetamine users to stay awake for weeks at atime---it dont actually kill them, but it may as well...

Rob is a free-lance journalist, and full-time geek.

Pay well? Depends on by what standard, I would think...

Cheers

Maybe I should rephrase that, that was how I lived, not just work. Most already know the story, and some are aware that I am now working to resolve the problem.

I've slept regularly for the past week, but old habits are hard to break....

I go thru times of not being ABLE to sleep from time to time.

Doc prescribed getting drunk (i'm AA) and "Removing the cause of my aggression" (my boss) from my daily life.

Its not fun after the thrid or fourth day when you start enjoying the body pains and the delirium. Thats the stage I was in for way to long...

But if you are doing this as some sort of self test, then I am all for you. Remember to alternate doing something that keeps you moving with things that let you stay put. But keep doing something!

And let us know if you CAN get to sleep after this...
