Animal Farm is one his finest. We had it as part of Literature in English Class in High School (Grade 9) and it hold true to this day.

Can't celebrate a birthday if you are dead.
Let's call it an anniversary of his birth, shall we?
I agree,
Animal Farm
was his finest writing, IMO. Didn't really like
1984
that much.
Cheers
Mick

Thanks TBC. Never seen the movie - maybe 'cause I don't watch SBS much, eh?
Cheers

Animal farm was good, but I liked 1984 better. The ending and the small details in the novel make it a truly disturbing experience.

Hey,
mickwish,
I celebrate Washington's Birthday every year -- or I did until the Feds changed the name to Presidents Day.
I'm pretty sure
Washington's
dead.
