When you're the President or any elected official, you are open game.
Its not only the personal life and background that come out in the open but your character.
For a person to aspire to the top job in the country, you must not only be transparent and fair but be perceived as being transparent and fair.
Citizens who elect a president deserve this. And if there are underhanded aspects to his character, people have a right to know that as well.
So their choice is more informed the next time.
If the President did drugs, DUI, entered a University through influence, I think everyone has to know about it. I don't suggest making a circus out of it. But I encourage enquiry and I encourage freedom of expression.
If the President had stuff in his closet he didn't want to get out, he should not have run for President.
With high office also comes high standards of behaviour and conduct.
Just my opinion.
