Anyone worked with Shellac?

Success!!!!
I mixed my own color with the liquid bug poop.
I mixed 5 qts of clear to 1 cup Amber. (they used to call it orange shellac)

The room looks like a beautiful yellow pine. Or aged knotty pine.
I got 2 coats on today. I'm going to sand again in the AM and add one perhaps 2 more (I've always been the type to figure since I'm a working my fanny off to make it beautiful and never quit at good )

Fingers loves the color.
Tkop, it's going to be a dead animal room, with Fingers deer heads and some other stuff. And if I ever hit a Squrill or ground hog I may have it scraped off the road and pasted on a plaque!

The room isn't as big as I thought. The cathedral ceilings make it seem bigger. It's only 10 x 12 (it's the office) but man it felt like a football field today when I was working on it

Doesnt matter if you covered it in semi-sweet chocolate, all that matters is its the way you wanted it and are happy :-)
